The caption in all-capital white lettering on the front: “Breaking ground for new A.A.S.R. cathedral 4/6 1913. Bliss photo 2854” but am not sure of the 6 in 4/6. A one-paragraph newspaper clipping is pasted on the back: “The Coudersport Consistory was once the home of the Isaac Benson family. The mansion was built in 1887 and was deeded to the consistory in 1913.” In a search at newspapers.com, I was unable to find the paragraph. If the clipping was published after 1977 in The Potter Enterprise, it would not be available at newspapers.com.
