Snyder was born in Eulalia Twp., Potter Co., PA. She was the daughter of William Horace Snyder and Rhoda K. DeGroat. Minnie died in Hebron Twp., Potter Co., PA and was buried 18 Feb 1909. NOTE: Some information was obtained from her Pennsylvania Death Certificate (#11684). She is enumerated on the 1900 census dated 16 June in Oswayo, Potter County, PA as the foster daughter of Mary Ann Kibbe, student. Her parents were not enumerated together on the 1900 census, both were living with other family members. As they married on 12 Jul 1890 the date given for her birth, May 1891, on the census appears more likely. She was engaged to marry Martin M. Turner according to PA marriage records which gave a license date of 12 Apr 1904, but there was no return to show the marriage took place. It stated she was 18 and consent had been given by her father. She did marry on 1 Sep 1904 at Whitesville, Allegany, NY to Edwin Bradford Dalaba and this was announced in the local paper on 15 Sep 1904. PA birth records show a daughter was born to them on 26 Jun 1907, no name on the record and no other information about her.
