PROOF, 31, of 308 Lea St., Munhall (Allegheny County), PA died unexpectedly Friday afternoon near (1988) Lake Tocojo in Spring Hill in Tuscarora Twp., Bradford County. He was born April 13, 1957 in Sayre, PA, son of Donald and Helen Owen Proof. He was employed as a sheet metal foreman with the McQuillan Brothers Steel Co. in Pittsburgh, PA. He has been a resident of the Pittsburgh area for the last 10 ½ years. Surviving are his wife Vida Fern Proof; three children, Terry Scott Proof, Michelle Proof and Danielle Proof, all at home; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Donald and Helen Owens Proof of Wyalusing RD 1 (Spring Hill); three brothers: Donald Proof of Rushville, Timothy Proof of Camptown and Lawrence at home; four sisters: Mrs. Lori Pelton of Montrose, Miss Joni Proof of Scranton, Miss Jodi Proof at home and Mrs. Charlene Clingerman of Towanda. A private memorial service will be held Sunday at 3 p.m. in the Kenneth D. Kerr Funeral Home, 106 Church St., Wyalusing, PA with the Rev.
