Supervisor Terette of Myrtle has been rounding up the roads in his district the past week. Bart Holly is having his house painted. Comrade Albert Clark and James Grow were in Portville on business yesterday. Earl Danforth returned home Saturday from West Branch where he has been working the past few months. R.W. Reed of Port Allegany Sundayed in this place. Monroe Young of Mt. Morriss, N.Y., was a Sunday guest at the home of A. A. Worden. R. Dennis of Eldred was a guest of his daughter, Mrs. D.F. Hastings, Sunday. Those parties who are using explosives for fishing purposes had better look a little out or they may get into trouble. A donation will be held at the home of Isaac Potter this (Thursday) evening for the benefit of Rev. J.A. Gardner.
