He lived at 103 N. Riverside, Goshen, and had been staying with a daughter, Mrs. Stephan Penn in Houston. Born in Bellefonte, Penn.. July 24, 1899, he had worked as an electrical engineer for NIPSCO for 35 years, retiring several years ago. He was a member of First United Church of Christ and was a World War I veteran. On June 21, 1923, he married Bella Barnhart. She died Feb. 18, 1954. On June 11, 1955, he married Nellie E. Patten, who died Aug. 18, 1973. Surviving besides his daughter are a son, John Edwin ol Urbana, IL.; and three grandchildren. Friends may call Wednesday in the Yoder-Culp Vuneral Home, then from 12:30 p.m. Thursday until services at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in . First United Church of Christ, Rev. William Howenstine officiating.
