Together, they owned and operated a dairy farm in Ulysses for many years. Sylvia was a 1950 graduate of Genesee High School and attended the Galeton First Baptist Church. She is survived by three daughters, seven grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. A private committal service was held at Ulysses Cemetery12.
