Elsie married Joshua JACKSON (c. 1780 - c. 1828)--my ancestor (Joel or Larry? -jcw)--around 1809, probably in New York.
Their children were:
- Lucinda (1810 - 1882);
- Joshua T. (1814 - 1883);
- Prudence (b. 1820);
- Harriet A. (1820 - 1891);
- Merrick (1822 - 1908);
- Jane Cordelia (b. 1824);
my ancestor, Lura Ann (1826 - bef. 1900); and
- Noble Victor JACKSON (1827 - 1906).
The family appears to have moved from New York to Pennsylvania between 1814 and 1820.
After Joshua's death, Elsie married John LYMAN, Sr. (b. c. 1790) on 24 October 1844, probably in Potter County, Pennsylvania.
Elsie probably died in Roulette, in Potter County.
