3 Houses Will Be Built Soon
M.M. Van Nocker has purchased three lots from Olon Mulconery across from the Carl Daniels home on North Main Street. He will begin to build two houses there at once which he hopes to finish before winter. He will build the third home next spring.

Donna Crawford, 19, of Port Allegany, in Kaul Memorial Hospital at St. Marys, suffering from severe lacerations of the face and possible fractures after walking into the propeller on returning from her first airplane ride near Emporium Saturday evening. The plane was owned and operated by Solomon B. Slater; it landed at Slater's Field, 6 miles north of Cameron.
Miss Crawford was employed as a beautician at Port Allegany.

observed Friday evening, August 23, at the Gold Grange Hall, at the conclusion of the regular meeting of the Grange.
Barney Daniels officiated a mock wedding ceremony as Mack Morley, brother of the groom, escorted the bride, the former Elizabeth Olmsted. Present were:

Mr & Mrs Earl Hollinger of Holly King Acres, RD1, Porterville, Pa, who arrived as a surprise for the bridal couple.
